The cards: I am offering 2 sided, full color press printed cards printed on watercolor paper. These will be stylish 5x5 square cards. These are all my original designs, exclusively for my clients. My catalog currently has over 60 designs to choose from and I am still adding more. These cards are gorgeous! I will be posting pictures as soon as I get my samples in and will also bring samples to the events (samples should be up by mid September). They will include one or more pictures on the front and back (pending design) and the greetings will be customizable. Envelopes are included and they come in packs of 24. One set will cost $55.00, two or more sets will be $50.00 each. Some designs will have the option to add a ribbon embellishment for an additional $13.00 per set of 24. Other card options: If you prefer to print your own cards, you may purchase up to 2 digital files with full reprint rights for $100 each. Resolution will be lowered to prevent printing over a 5x7 size. I am also offering a large quantity 4x6 discount for those of you who like to make your cards or just include a photo in your cards. These will be printed on professional grade photo paper and come in a lustre finish. A set of 25 (all same image) will be $90 or a set of 50 will be $130 ( a custom quote can be prepared if you need a different quantity). 4x6 prints are regularly priced at $12.00 each, so this is a substantial savings.
The Packages: I will have some gift print only packages as well as some card and gift print package combos available. Gift print packages start at $155 and include 12 various sized prints. Gift print and card packages start at $225 and include 48 cards and 8 gift prints. My full collection of mounting options will be available for a la carte purchasing at regular pricing.
Since it is only August, yes I am a planner, I just wanted to get these details out since I always have traffic through my blog and there are sure to be people out there like me who are early planners. I am taking names on a first priority wait list, so if you are interested please send me an email at lhuntphotog@live.com. I already have a few people on my list, so I am not the only one thinking about Christmas in August!

Scheduling updates...

Yes, I am posting more scheduling updates. July, August, AND September are all full for both regular sessions and emergency sessions. I am sorry I can't fit anyone else in as I am already overbooked. I only have 2 sessions still open for October and November (2 each month). The moral of the story here is do not wait to book if you know you are wanting to come and see me or you may miss your chance! P.S. I decided to hold off on my senior reps program for this year since I am so swamped in the little people:)

A natural...

I got to meet "K" and her hubby yesterday for a maternity session. I told "K" she was very photogenic and she teased I had to say that to make her comfortable. I told her I don't just say these things unless I mean them. I think these pics will show that I was not pulling her leg, she is an awesome model. They are expecting baby number one here in a few months time, a little girl. So, I am super excited to get to be a part of that when she arrives. I have three more maternity sessions coming up in the next few weeks and then all these mommies plus a few I have not met yet will all be letting me photograph their babes. So, it will be belly mania for a few more weeks and then an extra large helping of all the newborns you could want for a few months. I do have a newborn shoot coming up this Friday, so we will get some baby love in the middle of the belly fest. I am a lucky, lucky girl! I also want to thank "K" yet again for sending me two more friends I will be meeting here next month. The biggest compliment I can get is when you refer me to your friends. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. So hugs to you K, you rock!

I told them as soon as I took this shot it would be a favorite, and oh yes, I totally adore it

I am pretty pleased with my new chair yet again and this girl is a natural, no question about it. The camera loves her!

I had to include this one because it is pretty and the light in this spot was pure perfection! This exposure is straight out of the camera, this is all natural baby. You seriously could not ask for more beautiful light. I am in awe of it...

A little something different...

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to do something a little different, wedding portraiture. I normally do not do weddings but these are some dear friends of my Mom, so I agreed to step out of my box :) They are not actually getting married for a few more weeks in Oregon, but wanted to go ahead and have some pics done while they were still in Tennessee. So, we had an early evening session in my neighborhood to celebrate the big day a little early. They are both entertainers who have been working on the Delta Queen River Boat that is now docked in Chattanooga. Enough chatter and on with the sneak peeks from our session...

Rad couple...

I am not sure if it is cool to use the word rad anymore, but the couple I got to meet yesterday was rad. Plain and simple. I am sure the kids these days have another word they use, but my kids are not old enough to keep me up to date on such things :) So I will just stick to what I know, cool or not. I had a great time hanging out walking around their neighborhood, which I think is the most rad neighborhood in Mount Juliet! Dad has some super cool tats and I am already dreaming of ways to incorporate these when little "M" or "R" arrives here shortly. They are my kind of people for not finding out the sex of the baby, so I am excited to see what the stork will bring them. We had the most amazing July weather ever yesterday so we spent most of our session outdoors. I usually am equally partial to color and b/w photos, but I just am in a color mood today, so all sneak peeks are in color. Not to worry "R" I will put plenty of b/w's in your gallery too. They signed up for my premium "grow with me" package, so that means I get to see baby every 3 months for the whole year! So, you all will be seeing a lot of them in months to come. I can't tell you how much I love watching these babies grow, what an amazing time that first year is. Here is your sneak peek and I look forward to our next visit...

How lucky to find a flower filled lot in the neighborhood for my use- you know that is my favorite kind of location! "R" has such a beautiful profile I keep picking shots with this angle.

Aren't they adorably cute????

Scheduling updates...

I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful referrals and spreading the word about me. The good news for me is I am booked for the next few months, but of course that may be bad news for some of you out there if you are not on my schedule yet. July is full. August is full. I have one emergency opening for September for a newborn or maternity session only (session fee is $175 over the regular $100). I do still have several openings in October, though I do expect those to be filling soon due to the holiday rush. A reminder I will be having a few mini session events for Christmas card photos in October and November, so if you would like to get on the list for these please contact me. These will be 15 minute mini sessions with one 8x10 included for $50.00. I will offer some discounted card packages and gift print packages with these minis. Each date will only be open to 8 families, so I fully expect these to fill easily. Please don't wait until the last minute to contact me about these b/c I hate when I have to turn people away. I do have a contact and waiting list for these started, so let me know if you would like to get on the first priority list for these minis. You can email me at Lhuntphotog@Live.com. Thanks to all my "fans" out there for helping me grow!

Oh Baby- The Big Reveal

So, my faithful blog readers will remember a post awhile back titled "Oh Baby". It was a maternity session with a super sweet couple. Well today I finally got to meet the little guy in person. He had the coolest newborn hair I have had in awhile, abundant, dark and spikey. He was really good for the session today and gave me lots of sleepy shots which I love. I am exhausted from a long weekend, so I am only posting two now, but I will post a few more in a day or two. Enjoy the sneak peek. I warn you he is a cutie pie!!!!!

Look at this little heartbreaker giving me a little sleepy grin

Loving him in my new "drip", he looks so cozy.

Let Mom and Dad know what you think of their new addition and check back soon for some more sweet pics.

Here is an artsy one

Happy July 4th!!!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend. Hopefully you don't have neighbors that will be shooting fireworks late into the night keeping your children and dogs awake:) I just wanted to post a few pics of some popular cuties you will see featured many places on my website. I have to say that I love shooting in flower filled fields (say that 10 times fast). There are so many colors and textures it just always makes for a gorgeous setting. I only wish we could have these awesome locations year round. I guess it makes me appreciate them more since I only get to spend a short time with them each year. Enjoy these pics and have a great weekend!

This is as close as they wanted to sit but these smiles, priceless!
